Cliff co-founded Cornerstone Search Group in 2000. He is a Managing Partner of the firm and actively handles executive search assignments for Life Science Companies ranging from lesser-known discovery-stage biotech companies to some of the largest global pharmaceutical industry leaders.
Cliff also heads-up Cornerstone’s MD specialty practice area that fills key MD/Physician positions in the areas of Leadership (C-level, Global TA Heads, Global Program Heads, etc.), Clinical Development (pre-clinical, translational medicine, FIH-PoC early development and registrational later-stage development) and Medical Affairs (pre-launch and lifecycle management).

Steve co-founded Cornerstone Search Group in 2000 and he is a Managing Partner of the firm.
He started his career in the recruitment industry in 1997 with a national specialty search & recruitment firm.
Steve has successfully led our firm’s search efforts for many small to large multi-billion dollar international pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to fill their positions in multiple business and functional areas, in levels ranging from Director / Senior Director / Executive Director / Vice President / Senior Vice President / C-Level and Board of Directors.
Steve began his career working as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for KPMG. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.

Corey is a Senior Partner with Cornerstone Search Group, which he joined in 2001. Corey’s clients include a range of US and globally-based innovative pharma, generic pharma, and biotech companies of all sizes to help them strategize, identify, and hire for C-level, VP-level and Director-level positions based in both the US and throughout the world.
In addition to helping his clients with positions ranging from Discovery Research to Clinical Development to Medical Affairs to Commercial to Manufacturing, Corey co-leads two of our major practice areas: (1) our MD Recruitment practice searches for leadership positions in Translational Medicine, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance; and (2) our leadership roles for Health Economics / Outcomes Research / RWE / Market Access practice.
Corey earned his dual undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University, and he earned his JD from Hofstra University, where he specialized in Labor Law.
Rita is a Partner with Cornerstone Search Group. She is responsible for leading executive level searches for clients that include companies ranging from top global pharmaceutical leaders to emerging biotech firms. Rita’s search expertise includes several areas spanning from Health Economics Outcomes Research and Market Access (where she co-leads this practice area for her firm), Clinical Research & Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance, Marketing, Human Resources and Legal.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Search Group, Rita was Director of Business Development for Career Blazers, a national recruiting firm. She was instrumental in building the legal recruitment practice for their New Jersey office from its inception in 2004 through 2008.
Rita began her professional search career in 2000 with Michael E. Marion & Associates where she provided retained executive search services for several pharmaceutical & biotech clients.
Rita attended Ramapo College and Bergen Community College where she majored in Nursing.
Tom has successfully led executive search efforts for small, medium, and large US and global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in multiple business and functional areas.
Tom is a graduate of Providence College, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Management. He minored in Business and Public Service. Prior to starting his career in the executive search industry, Tom worked at Mount Sinai Hospital managing multi-layered functional relationships (Executives, Senior Management, Management, and Staff). He worked under former Mount Sinai Executive VP and current President of JCAHO, Mark Chassin. Since 2006, Tom is an active Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has 15+ years of public service experience.
